On July 16, 2007, Johns Hopkins University completes the implementation of the Integrated Student Information System (ISIS) with the implementation of the Records and Registration application. The ISIS project represents the university's ongoing commitment to a fully integrated student information system accessible through the web. The system will provide students access to financial aid, billing and enrollment records in one location with the same interface. Similarly, faculty will have access to a number of features including course rosters with detailed student information and grade entry available through a single website.Strong security assures confidential access to information by students and faculty using any popular web browser and JHED Login ID and password authentication.
Many students are already familiar with student information online access. In addition to the Financial and Billing features, ISIS for Students incorporates other useful elements, including: - The ability to select courses through a shopping cart mechanism to allow for better planning and easy registration.
- The ability to update and maintain address, telephone and email information.
- The ability to review enrollment and grade information by semester.
- Quick access to contact information for Admissions, Financial Aid, Billing and Registrar’s Offices across the university.
SAIS students and faculty who wish to learn more about ISIS and how it will impact them beginning in Fall 2007 should visit the web information page found at http://www.jhu.edu/isis/ or, for specific queries, contact the Registrar’s Office via email at Registrar’sDesk@jhu.edu using the subject heading “ISIS Query”.
As of July 17, 2007, students will be able to register and pay for courses, view their own grades, view their schedule of classes, and make changes to their biographical and address information using the Integrated Student Information System (ISIS) Records and Registration self-service web site. With this final ISIS implementation, the University will now have a fully integrated student information system accessible through the Web, allowing students to easily access their financial aid, billing and registration records in one location.
All students must complete on-line course registration by 9:00 am on Friday, August 31, 2007. This page will help guide you through the process.
Registration is available via the web July 17, 2007 through 9:00 am on August 31, 2007. Web registration hours are 7:00 am - 9:00 pm (except for August 31).
