Bologna Class of 1991 Holds Reunion
On June 30 and July 1, more than 30 Bologna Center alumni from the class of 1991 and their families gathered in Washington, D.C., for a reunion. Organized by a team of dedicated alumni, events included an authentic Italian dinner and cocktail reception in the Nitze Building and a barbecue hosted by Bob B’91, ’92 and Denise McNally. Dean Hosts Legacy Event
Dean Jessica P. Einhorn hosted the annual Legacy Society luncheon at SAIS on April 4. Professor Charles Gati spoke about his new book, Failed Illusions: Washington, Moscow, Budapest and the 1956 Hungarian Revolt, which resonated with the attendees, many of whom were in the foreign service at the time of the event. A lively discussion on the impact of the decisions and policies surrounding the tragic uprising also brought forth comparisons to current U.S. foreign policy dilemmas. The Legacy Society celebrates the SAIS community by recognizing and convening alumni and friends who are including the school in their estate plans.

New Advisory Council Members
Alumni Bob Botjer ’67, Sarah O’Hagan ’86 and Peter O’Hagan ’87 joined the SAIS Advisory Council this summer. Botjer is chairman of Eurowest Inns Inc., based in Vermont. The O’Hagans live in New York, where Sarah is a director at the International Rescue Committee and Peter is co-chief operating officer at Goldman Sachs.
